Wave Murano Glass was born in 2017 from Roberto Beltrami's burning passion for the art of glass. Being one of the most recent companies to form on the island, their mission is to use new technology to bring a fresh take on Murano glassmaking, all the while respecting tradition and taking consolidated ancient knowledge forward.
Together with his team of 10 of Murano's most experienced glass craftsmen, Roberto Beltrami produces innovative handcrafted sculptures, of unquestionable quality and aura.
Wave Murano Glass was born from a roaring furnace with passion and a dream. They are the first establishment in Murano to have a melting furnace that meets industry 4.0 standards for innovative energy recovery, reducing their environmental impact notably.
The newest glass master on the island is not one to be underestimated. His childhood dream to become an inventor, combined with his knowledge of Physics and science led him on the perhaps inevitable path to becoming an architect of blown glass.
Wave Murano Glass holds the Vetro Artistico number 96, and is therefore certified and registered for the production of Murano glass. This stamp/certification is only obtainable to those who conjure all their glass artworks on the island of Murano.
